AUGUST
August 8th

I've got loads to say, just been too busy to say it. So have we all. It's been a delicious week, the summer continues weatherly* and emotionally.
Today is Sunday, PSHT went to Wembley to watch Man U against Chelsea, apparently it was a v satisfactory match 3.1 to the good guys.
On Friday we took H&T, with Tim, to a Steam Fair which made us all, particularly D, v happy. As well as engines there were falcons and owls and ferrets.
On Thursday we biked, with Ziggy, for 7 miles through Badminton Park. They were able to spot deer, baa at sheep and generally exercise high spirits. When we were on the roads we needed to exercise discipline;- ride in single file, keep left. Hector rode at the front and identified himself as the General. I was at the back and was the navigator/medic. It developed into a rerun of WW2 culminating in a whole-playground battle when we arrived in Luckington. I took no photos or prisoners.
Today I have tidied the study. It has taken me 8 hours of highly satisfactory organisation. Now only 4 more rooms and 3 sheds to do. D went back to the steam fair and now he is at the other PC (a new one) composing his weekly family bulletin.
